The Brothers' take on Money Train 2
Relax Gaming's sequel that set the template for the persistent-symbol bonus round. Money Train 2 is a wild-west heist where the Money Cart bonus locks the reels and special symbols feed off each other until the screen is full.
Five reels, four rows, 40 lines in the base game โ but nobody's here for that. The destination is the Money Cart, a Hold-and-Win respin triggered by bonus scatters (or bought directly). Inside it, special symbols do the work: Collectors gather every value on screen, Payers pay everyone, Snipers hit random positions, Persistent symbols upgrade each respin, and the Necromancer and Reset Plus symbols revive and extend the round. They interact, and a good board can chain into something enormous.
RTP is 96.40% on the standard game, with a slightly different figure on the bonus buy (around 96.10%). The buy costs 20ร your stake. Max win is 50,000ร your bet, reached when the special symbols compound across a full Money Cart. Volatility is at the top end โ the base game is a placeholder and almost the entire experience lives in that respin round.
The Brothers consider Money Train 2 a genuine landmark โ the persistent-symbol Money Cart has been copied across the industry, and the original sequel still does it as cleanly as anyone. The base game is forgettable on purpose; the bonus is the product.
What we like
- Money Cart respin with interacting special symbols โ the template the genre copied
- 50,000ร max win is a top-tier ceiling
- Bonus buy at 20ร makes the destination directly reachable
What we don't
- Base game is a near-pointless placeholder before the bonus
- Top-end volatility means most Money Carts pay modestly
- Bonus-buy RTP runs slightly below the base game's
The persistent-symbol bonus that an entire genre copied, still done cleanly โ buy the cart, skip the base game, mind the variance.
