The Brothers' take on Rise of Olympus
Zeus, Poseidon and Hades take turns clearing the grid, each leaving a multiplier behind that climbs every time you win. Rise of Olympus is Play'n GO's answer to the cluster-grid format, and the gods are the gimmick that makes it work.
A 5ร5 grid with cascading wins โ match symbols, they clear, new ones drop. After each cascade one of the three gods acts: Hades destroys one symbol type, Poseidon adds wilds, Zeus does both. Each god has its own multiplier that ticks up by 1 every time you win with them active. Clear the whole grid and you trigger the 'Wrath of Olympus' free spins, where those multipliers carry over and can climb into serious territory.
Default RTP is 96.50%, with lower tiers as usual for Play'n GO โ check before you play. Max win is 5,000ร your bet. Volatility is high. The base-game hit rate is reasonable thanks to the gods acting every cascade, but the real money is in clearing the board, which is the hard part. There's a later 'Rise of Olympus 100' build with a bigger ceiling if you want more โ this is the original.
Around the table we put this a notch below Reactoonz for pure chaos and a notch above it for structure โ the three-god multiplier system gives you something to track. The 5,000ร cap is the limiting factor; it's the same number as half the studio's catalogue.
What we like
- Three-god multiplier system gives the cascades real structure
- Gods act every cascade, so the base game stays involved
- Clearing the grid for free spins is a clear, satisfying goal
What we don't
- 5,000ร cap is the same modest ceiling as much of Play'n GO's range
- Clearing the full board is genuinely hard โ the bonus is rare
- Lower-RTP builds exist; confirm the casino's figure
A well-structured cluster slot with a multiplier hook worth tracking โ capped lower than we'd like, but the god system keeps it interesting.
